Information Sessions
ICDP is hosting three virtual information sessions for the 126 invited Indiana cities and towns. Each one covers the aims of the Community Parks Initiative, who is eligible to apply, and how the two-phase planning and implementation grant process works.
All three sessions cover the same material, so register for whichever time works best for your team. Slides will be shared after the final session, and questions raised along the way will be answered in posted FAQs.

Information Session #2

ICDP will host three virtual information sessions to provide an overview of the Community Parks Initiative (CPI), its aims, and its grant processes. Representatives from invited cities and towns who wish to attend should register for one of the three sessions.
Each session covers:
- Who can apply — the 126 invited Indiana cities and towns with a population of at least 5,000 residents and a parks and recreation function
- Phase 1 planning grants of $50,000 to $250,000, with proposals due by 12 p.m. EDT on October 30, 2026
- Phase 2 implementation grants of $1 million to $30 million
- Documentation of a parks and recreation function
- Submission instructions, review criteria, and next steps
Slides from the presentation will be available after the completion of all three information sessions. Questions raised during these sessions and during the application process will be addressed in posted FAQs.
All three sessions cover the same material — attend whichever time works best for your team.
